Certificated Flight Instructor-Instrument Airplane
Summary
The individual will possess a valid commercial pilot certificate and the Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate for airplane single engine land. The candidate will be employed by the college on a part-time basis with up to 28 hours per week of flight instruction given. The candidate will provide flight instruction for the issuance or the private, commercial and CFI certificates and airplane instrument rating commensurate with their instructor privileges.
Qualifications
The candidate will possess both the commercial pilot and CFI certificate for airplane single engine land with a minimum of 225 hours of flight experience. The CFI -Instrument airplane certificate, Associate or Bachelor degree is preferred. Experience providing instruction in a Part 141 flight program and two years of CFI experience is also preferred.
