Salary is restricted to above range and will not exceed the maximum of the range. Salary offers are non negotiable and offers are determined and are based upon related work experience submitted on resume.

*The special term position is subject to program funding.
The instructor will work with eligible students to provide instruction in non-credit manufacturing and skill development courses. The Instructor will work with the program team to ensure proper tracking of student progress, development and career preparation. The Instructor will report to the Program Manager. The class schedule is days Monday-Friday.
Continued employment is contingent on attainment of (8) SACAI credentials prior to the end of the first 12 weeks of the program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Teaches courses in accordance with the master course outline and within the schedule of classes.
- Recommends changes to the instructional programs and curricula as required.
- Keeps and submits appropriate academic records in accordance with program requirements.
- Maintains instructional effectiveness by ongoing self-evaluation and incorporating current developments in instructional and learning strategies.
- Assists the College in keeping technology, facilities, and equipment current.
- Plans with the assistance of the Program Director to insure availability of supplies, textbooks, and classroom equipment requisite to the successful teaching of assigned classes.
- Assists in preparation of academic schedules specifically the manufacturing technology offerings.
- Works with the Program Director and other College staff in responding to student needs.
- Coordinates program activities with lab facilities or organizations providing similar training for the College.
- Prepares the recommended schedule for all specialized courses
- Serves as a liaison to LCCC Faculty insuring basic instruction meets requirements for students to transition into advanced certificate and degree programs.
- Encourages and assists students in utilizing self-service features available through the online platform.
- Maintains memberships in professional organizations related to the program.
- Promote safety culture and safe work environment for students and others.
Qualifications:
Required
Education
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- Foreign degrees – must provide a US equivalency report of your degree credentials with your transcript, if not, your resume will not be accepted.
Certifications
- Act 153 Clearances (Act 34 PA Criminal Background, Act 151 PA Child Abuse History, Act 114 FBI Clearance Fingerprinting)
- Candidate must secure the 8 PMMI credentials within the first 12 weeks of employment.
Work Experience
- One to two years previous teaching or coaching experience in the manufacturing or maintenance environment.
- Minimum three years hands on experience in a manufacturing or maintenance environment requiring electrical and mechanical installations and repairs or troubleshooting.

Preferred
- Teaching experience in a community college or adult education environment.
- Ability to work independently.
- Bilingual (Spanish).
- Experience with AMATROL instructional equipment and software.
